We’re looking for a customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our Mechanicsburg team—working directly with customers, service technicians, and vendors to identify, order, and distribute parts that keep equipment running.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with parts inquiries and orders
- Identify and source parts using catalogs, software systems, and manufacturer resources
- Process parts sales transactions and prepare customer orders
- Support technicians by supplying required repair parts
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory
- Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts
- Process incoming shipments and returns
- Follow up on backorders and communicate status updates to customers
- Maintain a clean and professional parts counter and warehouse area
What We’re Looking For
- Previous parts, warehouse, inventory, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in equipment and machinery
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Forklift experience a plus but not required
