Shop Assistant

Bortek has an immediate entry-level Shop Assistant opening for someone who wants to build a career with an industry leading company.
The right individual will receive valuable on the job, technical / mechanical training as well as the opportunity for unlimited growth within any of our exciting business divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Washing and general prep of retail sales equipment
  • Basic warehouse shipping & receiving
  • Moving equipment/materials in and out of shop/warehouse
  • Keeping yard and shop clean and organized
  • Completing local parts runs and delivery of equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Valid PA Driver’s License
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Equipment and fork-lift operational experience is a plus / we will train.
  • Past mechanical experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Dependable team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
