Ready to take your mechanical skills on the road and work with a company that truly values its technicians? At Bortek Industries, we sell and service leading brands of industrial floor scrubbers and sweepers — and we’re looking for a skilled, customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on, independent role where no two days are the same. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment at customer locations while providing professional service and building strong relationships along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on industrial cleaning equipment
  • Educate customers on proper machine operation and maintenance
  • Recommend parts and services to minimize downtime
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and reliable on-site service
  • Maintain a strong customer-focused approach in the field

Who We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of mechanical experience (construction, ag, small engine, motorcycle, automotive, etc.)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
  • Goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Compensation

$26.00 – $32.00 per hour

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
