Tennant 465 vs Advance Convertamatic
Scrubbers are used in facilities requiring powerful cleaning machines capable of combating the most stubborn stains and trouble spots. Rider-operated and walk-behind scrubbers are used in larger buildings or outdoor complexes, such as hospitals, universities, sports arenas, parking lots, and factories. Industrial factories and plants rely on scrubbers to ensure a safe work environment for employees and others when walking across the factory floor.
The Tennant 465 Scrubber is a walk-behind model with a 26-inch scrubbing capacity, meaning it can scrub 26 inches of ground in one pass. It's designed as an industrial cleaning machine and has specifications which make the Tennant 465 suitable to industrial production facilities with bulky, tough soil and dust buildup. The machine weighs slightly over 1,000 lbs and is about six feet long and four feet wide.
Another walk-behind industrial scrubber is the Bortek Advance Convertamatic. This line of scrubbers is available in two models which differ slightly in size, cleaning capacity, speed, and other specifications. The Convertamatic 28C has a 28-inch scrubbing path and travels at 2.8 mph, meaning an area of about 35,000 sq ft can be scrubbed in one hour. With batteries, the 28C weighs roughly 600 lbs and measures about 55 inches without squeegees attached.
