Tennant 4300 vs Litterboss

The LitterbossCleaning outdoor areas such as parks, sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor entertainment venues can be an arduous process without the right equipment. Many facilities use rider-operated vacuums powerful enough to clean up cigarette butts, soda cans, paper waste, and other debris. Two of the more common litter vacuums available are the Tennant 4300 ATLV Ride-on and the Minuteman LitterBoss.

The Tennant 4300 has a moving speed of 16 mph and a reversing speed of 5 mph. This machine is equipped with a vacuum nozzle operated by the driver to pick up a wide range of debris. In one hour, the Tennant 4300 can cover about 103,000 sq ft, which means cleaning a football field takes only about 30 minutes. In total, the Tennant 4300 weighs over 1,800 lbs with a total bag capacity of 110 gallons for collected litter.

The Minuteman LitterBoss sweeps and vacuums in one pass, at a speed of up to 8 mph. Dual side brooms are attached to either side of the front end of the LitterBoss, making its total sweep path about 68 inches. While vacuuming, water can be sprayed onto the brooms to scrub trouble spots more effectively. The LitterBoss weighs just over 1,600 lbs and can hold 30 gallons of solid debris and 23 gallons of water.

Both vacuums also come with company-specific warranties with differing limitations on travel and time elapsed after purchase, as well as parts and labors.
