The Stewart-Amos Sweeper Co’s Galaxy R-4 is a chassis mounted Regenerative Air street sweeper. The R-4 features a blast orifice style sweeping hood generating powerful air flow for optimal sweeping performance.
The bolt-together stainless steel hopper combined with two-piece stainless separation screens means years of high productivity and low maintenance.
Computer aided design of the dust separator provides uninhibited air flow for precise air return and fan protection. The abrasion resistant steel high-pressure backward inclined fan produces the maximum air flow pressure with minimal horse power requirements and low noise levels.
The Galaxy R-4 Non-CDL is an impressive piece of machinery, featuring a 4.65-cubic-yard hopper, high-performance sweeping system, and extremely effective high pivot slide-back dumping. Beyond rugged construction and heavy-duty performance, the R-4 is designed for simplicity, easy maintenance and high maneuverability. For a big piece of machinery it runs remarkably quietly, and it is also extremely efficient on fuel.
The Galaxy R-4 is available with a range of optional equipment to make it even more effective for a wide variety of applications. The 120-volt backup hydraulic system, left gutter broom and 6-inch hand hose help to ramp up productivity. For comfort and safety, this Stewart-Amos sweeper can be fitted with everything from a back-up alarm and safety camera system to LED hood lights and a dump assist shaker.
